Cashier Team Lead

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Cashier Team Lead to join our team at Breton Family Foods. As a Cashier Team Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing the sales floor, managing cash handling, and ensuring excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities:- Assign sales workers to duties and ensure adequate coverage on the sales floor
- Authorize payments by cheque and manage cash handling procedures
- Establish work schedules and ensure efficient workflow
- Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters
- Resolve customer complaints and supply shortages in a timely manner
- Organize and maintain inventory levels to meet customer demand
- Supervise and co-ordinate activities of sales floor staff
- Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback to team members
- 2 years of experience in a retail or sales environment
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
- High school diploma or equivalent required
