About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Anesthesia Assistant to join our team at Kootenay Boundary Regional Hospital (KBRH). As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our Anesthesiologists in the delivery of high-quality anesthesia services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist Anesthesiologists with the induction, maintenance, and recovery phases of anesthesia
  • Test, prepare, and maintain anesthesia equipment and supplies
  • Contribute to a client-centered approach and work collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care

KBRH is a 75-bed full-service regional hospital serving 86,000 people in the Kootenay Boundary region. Our hospital offers a wide range of medical services, including 24-hour Emergency and Trauma Services, Level 2 Laboratory, Intensive Care Unit (ICU), and Acute and Obstetrical Care.
