Job Title: Production Operations Manager
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Production Operations Manager to join our team at BC LTD. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our production processes, maintaining high-quality standards, and driving continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement equipment maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and optimize production efficiency.
- Conduct regular quality control inspections to ensure compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.
- Supervise and train employees in the use of new equipment and production techniques, ensuring they have the necessary skills to perform their duties effectively.
- Organize and maintain inventory levels to ensure adequate stock and minimize waste.
- Plan and implement changes to machinery and equipment, production systems, and methods of work to improve efficiency and productivity.
- Manage the establishment of departmental budgets and monitor expenses to ensure cost-effectiveness.
- Provide excellent customer service by responding to customer inquiries and providing information on our products.
- Plan and estimate labor and materials requirements to ensure accurate budgeting and resource allocation.
- Develop and maintain cost findings, reporting, and internal control procedures to ensure transparency and accountability.
- Supervise a team of 3-4 employees, providing guidance, support, and performance feedback to ensure they meet their job expectations.
- Travel to various locations as required, using a valid driver's license and own vehicle.
Requirements:
- 2 years of experience in a production operations role, preferably in the FMCG industry.
- Valid driver's license and own vehicle.
- Ability to work under pressure, with attention to detail and a strong work ethic.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and customers.
Working Conditions:
- Work under pressure, with a large workload and overtime required at times.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on quality and productivity.
Experience:
- 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a production operations role.
- Permanent employment, with a 32-hour workweek.
- Language of work: English.
