Job Overview

We are currently seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at one of our buildings in Delson. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the overall maintenance and upkeep of the building, including tasks such as site maintenance, cleaning, and repairs. This is a full-time position that requires flexibility to work days, evenings, and weekends, as well as being on call for emergencies.

About the Role
  • This role involves performing various tasks related to the maintenance department, including but not limited to:

Responsibilities:

  • Maintaining the general upkeep of the building, including cleaning and carrying out tasks related to floor and carpet maintenance in common areas
  • Ensuring the security and compliance with building regulations
  • Cleaning entrances and common areas, both inside and outside
  • Maintaining the cleanliness of the working environment
  • Performing minor repairs in apartments and common areas (plaster, paint, changing lights, etc.)
  • Preventive maintenance on equipment
  • Removing snow and ice from sidewalks

Requirements:

  • Diploma in General Building Maintenance or equivalent experience
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a similar role
  • Customer service experience an asset
  • Basic knowledge of ventilation systems, plumbing, and electrical skills
