Hotel Clerk Supervisor Job Description

Best Western Plus, Parry Sound is seeking a skilled Hotel Clerk Supervisor to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the front desk operations, ensuring exceptional customer service, and leading a team of hotel clerks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and Co-ordinate Front Desk Staff: Oversee the daily activities of the front desk team, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Maintain Hotel Operations: Ensure the smooth operation of the front desk, including checking in and out guests, handling room assignments, and resolving any issues that may arise.
  • Requisition Supplies and Materials: Order and manage the inventory of supplies and materials needed to maintain the hotel's high standards.
  • Monitor and Maintain Equipment: Ensure that all hotel equipment, including computers and other machinery, is in good working order and arrange for repairs as needed.
  • Provide Exceptional Customer Service: Ensure that all guests receive a high level of service, responding to their needs and resolving any issues that may arise.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Work Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a hotel or customer service role
  • Language: English
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week
