Job Title: Automotive Service Technician - Engine Repair Specialist

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Automotive Service Technician to join our team at Canadian Tire. As an Automotive Service Technician, you will be responsible for inspecting and repairing motor vehicles, discussing work with supervisors, and performing scheduled maintenance services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspect motor vehicles to identify areas for repair and maintenance
  • Discuss work with supervisors to determine the best course of action
  • Perform scheduled maintenance services, including oil changes and tire rotations
  • Test and repair automotive systems and components, including engines, transmissions, and brakes
  • Adjust, repair, or replace parts and components of automotive systems

Requirements:

  • 5 years or more of experience as an Automotive Service Technician
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
