Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Recreation Department Supervisor to lead our Recreational Activity Department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and delivering programs that enhance the holistic care of clients/patients/residents.

About the Role:

This is a full-time regular position with 8 hour shifts, no relief or float required. The ideal candidate will have one year of experience working in a recreation department in a health care setting and a Therapeutic Recreation diploma.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and direct the Recreational Activity Department
  • Develop, plan, organize, validate and deliver programs to enhance the holistic care of clients/patients/residents
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve departmental goals and objectives

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • One (1) year experience working in a recreation department in a health care setting
  • Therapeutic Recreation diploma
  • Intermediate computer skills
  • Organizational skills
  • Leadership skills
  • Interpersonal skills
  • Communication skills

Working Conditions:

  • No travel required
  • No field hours

Benefits:

We offer a competitive salary range of $30,730 to $32,880 per year, plus benefits.
