Job Title: Shipper-Receiver

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Shipper-Receiver to join our team at 536550 Yukon Inc. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth receipt and dispatch of goods.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Determine Method of Shipment: Research and select the most efficient and cost-effective shipping methods for our goods.
  • Schedule Transportation Conveyances: Coordinate with carriers to schedule pickups and deliveries, ensuring timely and accurate transportation of goods.
  • Prepare Shipping Documents: Accurately prepare bills of lading, invoices, and other shipping documents to ensure compliance with regulations and company policies.
  • Inspect and Verify Goods: Conduct thorough inspections of incoming goods to ensure they match invoices and other documentation.
  • Maintain Record-Keeping: Accurately maintain internal records of shipments, including tracking numbers, delivery dates, and any issues that may arise.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Will train.
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced environment with a large workload and tight deadlines.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs) and stand for extended periods.
