Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Installation Specialist to join our team at Blue Star Electrical Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing and maintaining electrical wiring and systems in our facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install and connect electrical wiring and cables
  • Test and measure voltage, loads, and circuit integrity
  • Troubleshoot and isolate electrical faults
  • Conduct preventive maintenance programs
  • Read and interpret blueprints, maps, and specifications
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in electrical installation and maintenance
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • Participation in a government or community program or initiative that supports newcomers and/or refugees
  • Participation in a government or community program or initiative that supports youth employment
  • Participation in a government or community program or initiative that supports Indigenous people
  • Participation in a government or community program or initiative that supports members of visible minorities
Work Environment

The successful candidate will work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment with a team of experienced electrical professionals. The work will involve working at heights, in confined spaces, and in a variety of weather conditions.

Language and Work Schedule

The language of work is English, and the work schedule is 40 hours per week.
