About the Role:

We are seeking skilled engineers to build a next-generation machine learning platform, integrating unsupervised and supervised algorithms. This involves improving core detection algorithms and automating training processes.

As complex fraud attacks escalate, real-time detection of fraudsters is crucial. The platform team will design architecture enabling real-time unsupervised machine learning. We need creative engineers to expand novel streaming and database systems supporting our detection capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop machine learning systems processing massive consumer service datasets
  • Apply unsupervised and supervised machine learning to detect fraudulent behavior and catch fraudsters
  • Develop and optimize systems, tools, and validation strategies for new features
  • Contribute to designing and building distributed real-time systems and features
  • Utilize big data technologies (e.g., Spark, Hadoop, HBase, Cassandra) for large-scale machine learning pipelines
  • Develop systems atop real-time streaming technologies (e.g., Kafka, Flink)

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of software development experience
  • 5+ years of experience in Java, Shell, Python development
  • Strong knowledge of relational databases, SQL, and ORM technologies (JPA2, Hibernate) is beneficial
  • Experience with Cassandra, HBase, Flink, Spark, or Kafka is advantageous
  • Spring Framework experience is beneficial
  • Test-driven development experience is desirable

Compensation: $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience
