About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Culinary Specialist to join our team at Wimpy's Diner. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of food preparation and presentation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Planning and Execution

Develop and implement menus that meet the tastes and dietary needs of our customers, while maintaining profitability and efficiency.

Food Preparation and Presentation

Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods to the highest standards of quality and presentation.

Kitchen Operations Management

Supervise and coordinate the activities of kitchen staff and helpers, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.

Inventory Management

Manage inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment, ensuring that we always have the necessary resources to meet customer demand.

Quality Control

Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure that they meet the highest standards of cleanliness and safety.

Requirements
  • Education

Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

Work Experience

1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role

Language

Fluent in English

Work Environment

Fast-paced environment, standing for extended periods, and working under pressure
