Position Overview: As a Back-End Developer, you will engage with a dynamic, multidisciplinary team that spans the globe. This role allows you to immerse yourself in a well-established DevOps culture, where you will integrate cutting-edge technologies, tackle intricate challenges, and create essential new features within an event-driven microservices framework and the GitOps methodology.

Work Environment: This position offers flexibility, allowing you to work from Saguenay (Québec) or remotely from anywhere in Canada or worldwide.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Design and implement features and enhancements for CONFORMiT products, ensuring security, thorough testing, and high performance.
  2. Collaborate on architectural and technological decisions necessary for feature development.
  3. Drive improvements in product quality, safety, and overall performance.
  4. Create and maintain automated testing protocols (unit, integration, and functional).
  5. Develop code that adheres to our internal standards for style, maintainability, and best practices suitable for large-scale web applications.
  6. Uphold these standards during code review processes.
  7. Contribute to your team's technical documentation.
  8. Identify and address barriers to team efficiency, proposing and implementing effective solutions.
Qualifications:
  • Extensive professional experience in C# or a strong aptitude for quickly learning new programming languages.
  • Robust understanding of automated testing methodologies.
  • Ability to thrive in a highly agile and iterative software development environment.
  • Positive and solution-focused attitude.
Essential Skills:
  • Experience with PostgreSQL.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify, diagnose, and resolve performance and optimization issues.
  • Familiarity with distributed systems and event-driven architectures.
