The successful candidate will possess excellent problem-solving skills, be detail-oriented, and have a strong ability to build trust with clients and colleagues. Proficiency in MS Office products, particularly EPIC, is essential for success in this position.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Process renewals, endorsements, and remarket clients as applicable to retain client files.
  • Take a client-centric approach to provide solutions that add value to customers.
  • Cross-sell and service an existing portfolio of business, focusing on client retention and relationship management.
  • Adhere to SBS Customer Service Standards and utilize activity codes in the Broker Management system (EPIC) and labeling procedures to ensure file completeness and organization.
  • Follow Small Business Solutions procedures and workflows to deliver exceptional customer service to existing and new clients.
  • Identify key risks for clients, identify new opportunities within client files, and forward them to other lines of business within the organization.

Requirements:

  • RIBO license required.
  • 2-3 years of previous insurance experience (Property & Casualty).
  • Customer-centric, friendly, and professional demeanor at all times.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
  • High level of self-motivation with the ability to perform independently with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office products.
  • Strong negotiation and resolution skills.
  • Previous experience with EPIC is an asset.
