About the Role

Key Responsibilities
  • Staff Supervision
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of sales staff, ensuring they are meeting sales targets and providing excellent customer service.
    • Conduct regular performance reviews to identify areas for improvement and provide coaching and training as needed.
  • Store Operations
    • Oversee the daily operations of the department store, including inventory management, visual merchandising, and store maintenance.
    • Ensure that all store policies and procedures are followed, including those related to customer service, sales, and employee conduct.
  • Sales and Customer Service
    • Develop and implement strategies to drive sales growth and improve customer satisfaction.
    • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Inventory and Merchandising
    • Manage inventory levels, ensuring that stock is accurately counted and stored.
    • Develop and implement visual merchandising plans to create an engaging and attractive store environment.
  • Reporting and Analysis
    • Prepare and submit regular sales reports, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
    • Analyze sales data to identify trends and opportunities for growth.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience
    • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a retail or supervisory role
  • Skills
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
    • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
    • Ability to lift heavy loads and stand for extended periods
Working Conditions
