Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Commercial Account Manager to join our team at Westland Insurance. As a key member of our commercial insurance team, you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with our clients, identifying their business needs, and providing tailored insurance solutions to meet those needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with commercial clients to understand their business needs and provide effective insurance solutions.
  • Identify exposure to loss and recommend appropriate coverage to minimize risk.
  • Cultivate client relationships through exceptional client service and communication.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments to provide expert advice to clients.
  • Work closely with our industry partners to deliver the best insurance solutions for our clients.
  • Manage policy renewals, policy changes, and cancellations to ensure seamless client experience.
  • Uphold a client-first focus through the claims process to ensure timely and fair resolution.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of commercial insurance experience with a Level 2 license, CAIB, CRM, or CIP designation.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively communicate with clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines and deliver results.
  • Confidentiality and discretion when handling sensitive client information.
  • Adaptability and flexibility to pivot when priorities change throughout the day.
