Job Title: Contract Implementation Analyst

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain the technical and financial reporting aspects of the FAST Research Module.
  • Liaise with Research Accountants, PIs, and faculty to create customized reports, ensure functionality, and troubleshoot issues.
  • Participate in the research and development of system enhancements, including software upgrades, customized financial reporting templates, workflow functionality, system integration, and client support.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor of Commerce degree or related field.
  • Training in Business System Analysis or other related professional development.
  • Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience, including knowledge of financial controls and experience implementing and administrating complex financial management systems and performing data analysis.
  • Experience conducting information risk assessments for external agencies.
  • Experience with multiple hardware and software environments.
  • Broad experience with tools and technologies used to design, plan, and validate financial data.
  • Experience with system implementations, applications, and business processes.
  • Experience working in a complex computer accounting and information system environment.
  • Experience with interpreting policies, contracts, and guidelines, conducting oversight, and monitoring compliance with such, and the implementation of internal controls and processes to support this.
  • Experience advising on financial best practices, policies, and procedures and promoting compliance.
  • Experience conducting financial and system training.
  • Experience with full-cycle accounting, budget oversight, conducting financial and statistical analysis, and preparing financial and statistical reports.
