Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Occupational Therapist to join our specialist team at Woodlands Neurological Rehabilitation Centre. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing occupational therapy expertise to support comprehensive assessments, care planning, and exceptional care delivery for our service users.

Your primary duties will include:

  1. Collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams to develop and implement individualised occupational therapy programs
  2. Providing advanced occupational therapy assessments and treatment to patients with diverse, complex, or multiple pathologies
  3. Liaising with family, carers, and significant others to ensure patient needs are met to a high standard
  4. Assisting in the development and management of the occupational therapy service and staff
  5. Maintaining accurate and thorough records, assisting in the generation of high-quality management reports across the service
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • HCPC Registration
  • Previous experience within neurorehabilitation and respiratory settings
  • Experience working with tracheostomy patients
  • A compassionate, patient-centred approach, with the ability to motivate and inspire others
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills to engage effectively with patients, families, and colleagues
About This Role

This is a fixed-term 1-year contract position, working 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday. We understand the importance of work-life balance and encourage open discussion around flexible working arrangements.
