Key Responsibilities

  • Assist senior project engineers with planning, scheduling, and coordinating nuclear engineering projects.
  • Track project progress and assist with the management of timelines, resources, and deliverables.
  • Prepare and maintain project documentation, including technical reports, meeting minutes, schedules, and progress reports.
  • Ensure all documents are accurately filed and compliant with industry standards.
  • Support the team in ensuring all project activities adhere to nuclear safety regulations, codes, and standards.
  • Coordinate suppliers, contractors, and vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials and services as per project specifications and requirements.
  • Provide technical assistance by assisting with design reviews, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring systems meet operational and safety standards.
  • Monitor project progress by tracking key milestones and performance metrics.
  • Report any deviations from the project plan and assist with corrective actions when necessary.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Nuclear, or related field).
  • No prior professional experience is required, but any relevant internship or academic project experience in engineering or nuclear-related fields is a plus.

Skills

  • Strong understanding of engineering principles and project management processes.
  • Basic knowledge of nuclear industry regulations, codes, and standards is an advantage.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Familiarity with project management software is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Problem-solving mindset and attention to detail.
