About this Opportunity

Southbridge Care Homes is seeking a dedicated Unregulated Care Provider to join our team at our London, ON location.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure the effective administration of medications to our residents in a safe and organized environment.
  • Assist with document management and ensure treatments align with the Medication Administration Record (MAR).
  • Participate in initial and annual medication administration training and obtain sign-off from the Director of Care.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to the home or residents in collaboration with the Resident Service Manager.
  • Manage medication stocks, order new supplies, and maintain accurate records.
  • Support emergency procedures, enrollment and discharge processes, and Occupational Health and Safety protocols.

Requirements

  • Appropriate degree or diploma in Occupational Health and Safety, Public Health, or a related field (PSW Certificate preferred).
  • One year or more of experience as a Unregulated Care Provider in a Long-term care home or Hospital Setting (asset).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, prioritize tasks, and communicate effectively.
  • Physical strength to lift up to 50 Lbs and current CPR and First Aid certification (preferred but not mandatory).
