Retail Sales Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Retail Sales Manager to join our team at 2872940 Ontario Inc. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, managing staff, and implementing effective marketing strategies.
Key Responsibilities:- Staff Management: Manage and supervise a team of 3-4 staff members, ensuring they have the necessary skills and resources to excel in their roles.
- Market Research: Conduct market research to determine consumer demand, sales volumes, and competitor activity, informing our sales and marketing strategies.
- Merchandise and Services: Determine the merchandise and services to be sold, ensuring they meet customer needs and drive sales growth.
- Price and Credits Policies: Implement and manage price and credits policies, ensuring they are fair and competitive.
- Procurement: Locate, select, and procure merchandise for resale, ensuring high-quality products and efficient supply chains.
- Marketing Strategies: Develop and implement effective marketing strategies to drive sales growth and increase brand awareness.
- Budgeting and Financial Management: Plan and manage budgets, monitoring revenues and expenses to ensure financial stability.
- Staffing and Recruitment: Determine staffing requirements, recruit, hire, and supervise staff and/or volunteers, ensuring a skilled and motivated team.
- Performance Reviews: Conduct regular performance reviews, providing feedback and coaching to staff to improve performance.
The Retail Sales Manager will work in a fast-paced environment, with tight deadlines and heavy workloads. The ideal candidate will be able to work under pressure, handle multiple tasks, and maintain attention to detail.
Requirements:- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a sales or management role.
- Language: English.
- Work Hours: 35 hours per week.
