Job Summary

We are seeking a Relief Full Time Occupational Therapist to join our team at Peace Arch Hospital. As an Occupational Therapist, you will provide occupational therapy services to patients in accordance with the College of Health and Care Professionals of BC standards of practice and Fraser Health's mission and values.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide occupational therapy assessment and treatment to patients in the acute care setting.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to promote patient independence and functional ability.
  • Collaborate with the interprofessional care team to provide patient-centered care.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a culture of safety and excellence.
Requirements
  • Current full registration with the College of Health and Care Professionals of BC.
  • Knowledge of occupational therapy theory and practice within a patient and family-centered model of care.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with patients, caregivers, and healthcare professionals.
