Intermediate Front-End Developer

At Tiller, we're seeking a skilled Intermediate Front-End Developer to join our team of creative minds. As a key contributor to our success, you'll be responsible for building high-quality websites and web applications that drive results for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with project managers, brand strategists, designers, and other developers on web projects
  • Interpret project briefs to understand project requirements
  • Conduct research and test ideas to determine technical feasibility of client ideas, UX/UI designs, etc.
  • Build custom, high-quality websites and web applications to drive results for our clients
  • Optimize websites and web applications for maximum speed and scalability as well as for SEO best practices
Requirements:
  • Experience with WordPress (custom development, not off-the-shelf templates)
  • Experience with Advanced Custom Fields, WooCommerce, Gravity Forms, and Yoast SEO
  • Full stack development experience an asset
  • Illustrator, Photoshop, Sketch skills for graphic and image adjustments
  • Good understanding of SEO principles and coding best practices
  • Ability to work well in a team and with creative people
  • Confidence in building rapport with clients and nurturing good working relationships
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and responsibilities
