Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled TEKLA Draftsman to join our team at Summa. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for creating detailed drawings and models of complex steel structures and wrought metal projects using TEKLA software.

Key Responsibilities
  • Modeling of complex steel structures and wrought metal projects using TEKLA software
  • Participate in BIM coordination to ensure seamless integration with other teams
  • Conduct site measurements and coordinate with other subcontractors and contractors to ensure accurate project execution
  • Collaborate with specialized engineers to design assembly details in the factory and on site
  • Prepare approval drawings, assembly drawings, and all necessary documents for manufacturing
Requirements
  • Ability to work effectively as a team member
  • Proficiency in TEKLA software
  • Relevant experience in wrought metal or steel structure drawings
  • Fluency in spoken and written French
  • Fluency in spoken and written English (asset)
