Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to join our team at Target Hydraulics & Machine Work Ltd.

About the Role

This is a critical position that requires excellent communication and organizational skills. As a Logistics Coordinator, you will be responsible for overseeing the receiving and shipping of goods, ensuring timely delivery, and maintaining accurate records.

Key Responsibilities
  • Receiving and Shipping: Inspect and verify incoming goods against invoices or other documents, prepare bills of lading, invoices, and other shipping documents, assemble containers and crates, and route goods to appropriate storage areas.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain internal record-keeping systems, pack goods to be shipped, and unpack goods received.
  • Equipment Operation: Oversee loading and unloading of goods, operate hoists or winches, and use steel-toed safety boots as required.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in logistics or a related field.
  • Credentials: Forklift Operator Certification.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Computer Skills: Knowledge of inventory control software, spreadsheet programs (e.g., MS Excel), and email applications (e.g., MS Outlook).
  • Transportation: Valid driver's license and own transportation.
  • Physical Abilities: Ability to handle heavy loads up to 23 kg (50 lbs), bend, crouch, kneel, and work in a fast-paced environment.
What We Offer
  • Competitive Salary: $55,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience.
