Mosaic Artisan

We are seeking a highly skilled Mosaic Artisan to join our team at Arch Pro Construction Inc. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to work on various projects and contribute to the company's growth.

The successful candidate will be responsible for creating decorative wall, mural, and floor designs using mosaic tiles. They will also be involved in laying and setting mosaic tiles, as well as estimating costs and materials for these projects.

• Prepare, measure, and mark surfaces to be covered with mosaic tiles.
• Mix, apply, and spread mortar, cement, mastic, glue, or other adhesives using hand trowels.
• Cut and fit tiles around obstacles and openings using hand and power cutting tools.
• Instruct apprentices on various aspects of tile-setting and mosaic artistry.
• Pack grout into joints between tiles and remove excess grout.
• Remove and replace cracked or damaged tiles.

To be considered for this role, candidates must have:

• A secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
• 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in tile-setting and mosaic artistry.
• The ability to work on site, without remote options.

The selected candidate will need to meet the following requirements:

• Be physically demanding and able to handle heavy loads.
• Bend, crouch, kneel regularly.
• Hold attention to detail and maintain excellent hand-eye coordination.
