We are seeking a skilled Cook to join our team at A&W. As a Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods, as well as training staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food.
Job Summary:The Cook will work in a fast-paced environment, standing for extended periods, and will be responsible for determining the size of food portions and costs, planning menus, and estimating food requirements. The ideal candidate will have excellent oral communication skills, be a team player, and have flexibility to adapt to changing situations.

- Supports Veterans in translating their military skills and experience into the language of the civilian job market
- Offers flexible onboarding options to allow Veterans to gradually adapt to the civilian workplace
- Participates in a government or community program or initiative that supports Indigenous people
- Offers mentorship, coaching, and/or networking opportunities for Indigenous workers
- Develops and maintains relationships with indigenous communities, indigenous-owned businesses, and organizations
