Food Service Manager

Tamarind Indian Catering Inc. is seeking a skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our food service operations.
Key Responsibilities:- Establish Work Schedules: Develop and implement efficient work schedules to meet the demands of our food service operations.
- Requisition Supplies: Order and manage the inventory of food and kitchen supplies to ensure we have the necessary resources to deliver exceptional service.
- Supervise Staff: Lead and coordinate the activities of our food preparation and service staff to ensure high-quality dishes and exceptional customer service.
- Estimate Ingredients: Accurately estimate the ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation to minimize waste and optimize inventory.
- Quality Control: Ensure that our food and service meet the highest quality standards, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Customer Service: Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage to inform business decisions.
- Reporting: Prepare and submit regular reports to management on key performance indicators.
As a Food Service Supervisor, you will work in a fast-paced environment with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking. You must be able to work under pressure and be physically demanding at times.
Requirements:- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a food service or related role.
