United Way East Ontario - Centraide de l'Est de l'Ontario is seeking a highly skilled and creative Manager, Social Media and Content to lead our online presence and drive meaningful interactions with diverse audiences.

About the Role:

This is a hybrid position based in Ottawa, supporting the regions of Prescott-Russell, Ottawa, Lanark and Renfrew Counties. The Manager, Social Media and Content will be responsible for creating, growing, managing, and producing online communities that showcase the United Way East Ontario brand.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy across platforms like YouTube, Instagram, and LinkedIn.
  • Produce high-quality video, audio, and written content that resonates with diverse audiences and drives meaningful interactions.
  • Manage and oversee content calendars, drafts, and publishes social media content, monitors and responds to channel engagement.
  • Collaborate with the marketing and communications team to support marketing and communications strategies that reinforce brand health and drive conversion.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and techniques in video and content production, and proactively implements them into the content strategy.
Requirements:
  • Post-secondary degree/diploma in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, Public Relations or equivalent combination of training and experience.
  • Demonstrated track record of innovative and measurable social media management achievements.
  • 4+ years of experience creating video, audio, and other digital and web content that measurably resonates and influences a broad range of audiences and stakeholders.
  • 4+ years generating copy and messages that clearly resonate and influence a broad range of audiences and stakeholders.
  • 4+ years managing multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
