Job Title: Personal Support Worker - Nursing Care

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Personal Support Worker to join our team at Prokare Support Services Inc. As a Personal Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our patients, ensuring their physical and emotional well-being.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist patients with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Provide nursing care, including administering medications, changing wound dressings, and monitoring vital signs.
  • Support patients with mobility issues, including transferring, lifting, and positioning.
  • Prepare and serve meals, snacks, and beverages to patients.
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment, including cleaning patient rooms and equipment.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings and weekends.
