Magellan Aerospace Corporation is seeking a highly skilled Statistical Process Control Analyst to join our team in Winnipeg, Manitoba. As a key member of our manufacturing hub, you will provide technical assistance and training to support the implementation of Statistical Process Control (SPC) in our operations.
Key Responsibilities- Provide technical assistance and training to support the implementation of SPC, ensuring compliance with customer and internal requirements.
- Develop and deliver training programs in SPC, including process control and data analysis.
- Collaborate with internal and external customers to support the effective implementation and use of variability reduction techniques.
- Work with the Manufacturing Engineering and Quality Assurance departments to develop and implement specification plans.
- Research and evaluate new inspection technologies and their potential implementation in our manufacturing processes to reduce inspection costs.
- Ensure compliance with ISO:17025 requirements for tool calibration and communicate with external calibration houses as needed.
- Review and revise existing operation procedures and work instructions related to SPC, as necessary.
- Stay up-to-date with SPC concepts and advanced usage of associated software and hardware.
- Promote the utilization of SPC data to improve manufacturing processes and identify opportunities for cost savings.
- Support the metrology department in tracking and analyzing data.
- Graduate of a recognized Engineering Technologist program or relevant University degree, or a minimum of five (5) years of related experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience in the application of statistical methods in a manufacturing environment.
- Membership in CTTAM or APEGM, if applicable.
