Kitchen Helper Job Description
At Handsome Devil Bistro, we are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Kitchen Helper to join our team. As a Kitchen Helper, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen, maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organization, and providing exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in food preparation, including washing, peeling, and cutting vegetables and fruits.
- Operate dishwashers and wash dishes, glassware, and flatware by hand.
- Clear and clean tables, trays, and chairs, and sanitize kitchen surfaces.
- Stock refrigerators and salad bars, and receive, unpack, and store supplies.
- Remove kitchen garbage and trash, and maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment.
- Assist with food service, including serving customers at counters or buffet tables.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements:
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods.
- Availability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.
