Job Title: Restaurant Supervisor

Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Restaurant Supervisor to join our team at ONTARIO LTD. As a key member of our food service operations, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of food quality, customer service, and team management.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Establish methods to meet work schedules and ensure seamless daily operations.
  2. Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, maintaining a high level of efficiency and productivity.
  3. Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, promoting a culture of excellence and compliance.
  4. Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, minimizing waste and optimizing resources.
  5. Hire and onboard new food service staff, ensuring they are equipped to provide exceptional customer experiences.
  6. Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, maintaining a clean and safe environment for customers and staff.
  7. Prepare budget and cost estimates, supporting informed business decisions.
  8. Address customer complaints and concerns, resolving issues promptly and professionally.
  9. Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing valuable insights for continuous improvement.
  10. Prepare food order summaries for the chef, ensuring timely and accurate communication.
  11. Maintain knowledge of the establishment's culinary genres, staying up-to-date with trends and best practices.

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:

This role requires working in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks under pressure, and meeting tight deadlines. The physical demands include a combination of sitting, standing, walking, and standing for extended periods, as well as bending, crouching, and kneeling.
