Job Summary
Nissan Motor is seeking a highly skilled Treasury Financial Analyst to join our team in Mississauga, ON. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for assisting in cash management and financial planning for Nissan Canadian Operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in cash management operations, including daily cash administration, management of current accounts, and bank relationships.
- Monitor intra-day cash positions and coordinate with business units to ensure sufficient daily liquidity.
- Prepare daily cash packages and balance analysis.
- Manage daily short-term consolidated cash flow forecasting.
- Provide monthly and quarterly reports for treasury activities.
- Assist in month-end activities, including creating and posting journal entries.
- Prepare monthly financial reporting packages and assist in the budget and reforecast process.
- Perform variance analysis between budget plan and actuals.
- Maintain budget/reforecast information within financial models.
- Coordinate financial questions/answers among treasury and accounting.
Requirements
- Minimum of Bachelor's degree in Accounting and/or Finance (CTP or CFA are considered an asset).
- Minimum 2 years of experience in finance/accounting and in treasury (cash management).
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office (emphasis on Excel and Access).
- Ability to handle multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
- Must be detail-oriented with strong organizational and analytical skills.
- Strong initiative, self-driven, and motivated; ability to work independently or within a team.
