Salary: The salary range for this position is between $65,000 and $85,000 per year, depending on experience.

Job Description:

This role requires a highly organized and detail-oriented individual who can assist with the maintenance of surveying equipment and facilities used by students in surveying field exercises. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all equipment is in good working condition and that students are following safety protocols.

The ideal candidate will have a three-year diploma or degree in Surveying, Geomatics, Civil Engineering Technology, or a related field. They will also have a minimum of two years' experience in construction layouts, leveling, total stations, electronic digital theodolite, GPS equipment, route surveying, and survey and GIS software.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the maintenance of surveying equipment and facilities used by students in surveying field exercises.
  • Ensure that all equipment is in good working condition.
  • Develop and implement procedures for the safe use of equipment.
  • Provide technical support to students and faculty.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Three-year diploma or degree in Surveying, Geomatics, Civil Engineering Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of two years' experience in construction layouts, leveling, total stations, electronic digital theodolite, GPS equipment, route surveying, and survey and GIS software.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
