We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Controller to join our dynamic team at Dream. As a key member of our accounting group, you will be responsible for providing financial guidance and support to our Western Development teams.

The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of experience in the accounting field, preferably in the real estate sector or a publicly traded company. You will be highly skilled at multi-tasking and identifying priorities, with strong communication and organizational skills.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Completing monthly and quarterly accounting entries and procedures;
  • Preparing monthly reconciliations of relevant balance sheet and income statement accounts;
  • Assisting with our Treasury function, as needed;
  • Ensuring local compliance with corporate internal control framework;
  • Accomplishing tasks on time and contributing to the team by taking on special projects, as required;
  • Providing support to other members of the accounting team;
  • Establishing and maintaining a strong working relationship with the operations team; and
  • Preparing year-end working papers for the external audit process and ad-hoc analysis for our business.
