Sanimax, a pioneering leader in the industry, is seeking an accomplished Industrial Mechanic to join our team.


This role offers a unique opportunity for a motivated individual to make a meaningful impact in the field of sustainable solutions.


As an Industrial Mechanic with Sanimax, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, performance, and longevity of equipment, including conveyors, grinders, cooking systems, filtration systems, pneumatic, hydraulic, and pumping systems.


This is a unionized, permanent position with a competitive salary of $39.06/h upon hiring and $39.81/h after probation. You will also receive a comprehensive group insurance program, telemedicine, pension fund with employer contribution, gym reimbursement, and physical activity incentives.


The schedule for this position includes a 36-hour work week paid as 40 hours, with work on Saturday, Sunday, and Monday. You will also participate in day and night rotation, working 3 days of 12 hours.


Responsibilities:

  • Perform preventive maintenance by addressing detected mechanical anomalies, including component replacement.
  • Install new equipment and modifications to existing processes and machinery.
  • Demonstrate versatility and interest in both 'pure' mechanics and processes.

Requirements:

  • Hold a DEP in industrial mechanics or electromechanics.
  • Have a minimum of 7 years of experience in industrial maintenance.
  • Be proficient in welding, assembly, and disassembly, as well as handling heavy equipment.
  • Demonstrate interest and aptitude for problem-solving and troubleshooting.
  • Show ingenuity, dynamism, resourcefulness, and autonomy.
  • Be tolerant of visual elements and odors.
  • Maintain excellent physical condition.
