About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Automotive Service Technician to join our team at Midas Duncan. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction by providing exceptional service and repair work on commercial transport truck systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Repair and Maintenance: Diagnose and repair complex issues with commercial transport truck systems, including engines, transmissions, and brakes.
  • Inspection and Testing: Conduct thorough inspections and tests to identify faults and malfunctions in mechanical units.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with customers, explaining work performed, and advising on future repair requirements.
  • Reporting and Documentation: Complete accurate and detailed reports to record problems and work performed.
  • Teamwork: Collaborate with colleagues to ensure efficient and effective workflow.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
  • Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • Certifications: Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate.
  • Language: English.
