We are seeking a skilled Machinist to join our team at SURI MANUFACTURING & INDUSTRIAL. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining our machine tools and equipment.
Key Responsibilities- Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and charts to ensure accurate production.
- Repair and maintain machine tools and parts to ensure optimal performance.
- Set up and adjust production machinery and tools to meet quality and productivity standards.
- Assemble and fit components and machine parts to close tolerance.
- Maintain and calibrate precision measuring instruments to ensure accurate measurements.
- Document and report any deviations from specifications and tolerances.
- Verify dimensions of parts and products using precision measuring instruments.
- Operate conventional and computer-controlled machine tools to produce high-quality products.
You will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, performing repetitive tasks that require attention to detail. You must be able to work efficiently and effectively as part of a team.
Requirements- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work accurately.
- Dependability and ability to work efficiently.
- Efficient interpersonal skills and ability to work as part of a team.
- Flexibility and ability to adapt to changing priorities.
- Initiative and ability to take ownership of tasks.
This is a permanent position with a 35-hour workweek. The work language is English.
