Job Description

A Retail Team Lead at Apple Inc. is responsible for leading a team of retail staff to deliver exceptional customer experiences and achieve business goals.

You will lead by example, demonstrating excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and work collaboratively with your team to achieve results.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a Team: Develop and empower each team member to learn, grow, and achieve performance and developmental goals.
  • Recruit, Train, and Develop: Assist with recruiting, training, developing, and retaining a diverse, high-performing team.
  • Floor Leadership: Actively participate in Floor Leadership by interacting with team members and customers throughout the store, modeling what good looks like, and making sure that business priorities are met and exceptional customer service is delivered.
  • Customer and Team Member Concerns: Address customer and team member concerns and escalations, and partner with leadership and key business or People partners when appropriate.
  • Business Priorities: Drive business priorities and achieve store performance goals by planning and executing operational strategies within assigned functional areas.
  • Maintain Company Policies: Maintain and uphold company policies and procedures, and protect all company assets, including confidential business, customer, team member, and financial information.
  • Inclusive Environment: Contribute to an inclusive environment by respecting each other's differences and having the curiosity to learn.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Availability: You should be available to work a schedule based on business needs that may include nights, weekends, and public holidays in the retail store, and reliably attend work as scheduled, in line with local laws and subject to any approved accommodations.
  • English Proficiency: Be proficient in written and spoken English (sign language supported).
  • Experience: Have experience leading others in retail, sales, or a related field.
