Machinist Trainee

We are seeking a skilled Machinist Trainee to join our team at 3D LASER & FABRICATION INC. The successful candidate will assist in the setup and operation of conventional and computer-controlled machine tools, ensuring high-quality products are produced efficiently.
Key Responsibilities- Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and charts to set up and adjust production machineries/tools.
- Fabricate and assemble components and machine parts to close tolerance, maintaining precision and accuracy.
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment and machinery, ensuring optimal performance and safety.
- Operate and set up machines to perform repetitive machining operations, adhering to specifications and tolerances.
- Verify dimensions of products for accuracy and conformance to specifications using precision measuring instruments.
- Document and report deviations from specifications and tolerances, maintaining inspection records and completing inspection reports.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in a related field an asset.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, standing for extended periods, and maintaining attention to detail.
- Flexibility, team player, and reliability essential for success in this role.
- Will train; language of work: English; hours of work: 32 hours per week.
