Heavy Goods Hauler

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Heavy Goods Hauler to join our team at Q.M.G TRUCKING LTD. This is a unique opportunity for a motivated individual to work on a permanent basis, driving straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials across various routes.
Key Responsibilities- Operate and Drive Trucks: You will be responsible for safely operating and driving straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials, adhering to all relevant laws and regulations.
- Maintain Vehicle Condition: Regularly inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition.
- Perform Repairs: Perform emergency roadside repairs and perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections to oversee all aspects of the vehicle.
- Record Information: Accurately record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
- Driver's License: Possess a valid Class 1 or A Driver's License.
- Competitive Salary: Enjoy a competitive salary of approximately $60,000 per year, based on experience and location.
- Permanent Work Term: Work on a permanent basis with opportunities for career advancement.
- 40 Hours per Week: Work 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with occasional overtime as required.
- English Language: Communicate effectively in English, both written and verbally.
