Global Oil Gas Senior Corporate Risk and Insurance Expert

About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as an Insurance Risk Specialist in the Insurance Management & Advisory Division (IMAD) of the Financial Risk Management Department (FRMD) at MatchaTalent.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement risk management strategies to protect assets and mitigate liabilities.
- Analyze and mitigate casualty risks, and reduce the cost of insured and uninsured losses.
- Design and procure insurance to protect assets and mitigate liabilities.
- Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to establish credibility and build strong relationships.
- Be flexible and able to work with minimal supervision, meeting challenging deadlines and effectively planning and coordinating workloads.
- Deliver high-quality work and proactively address issues to ensure successful delivery.
- Apply knowledge of captive insurance companies and develop strategies to mitigate or transfer risk.
- Negotiate, implement, and administer insurance and reinsurance placement structures.
- Develop and advise on the implementation of risk and insurance policies and procedures.
Requirements:
- Willingness to relocate to Dhahran, Saudi Arabia.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in insurance or risk management from an accredited program.
- Minimum 12 years of experience in the oil & gas, petrochemical industry, or a major corporate organization.
- Significant relevant corporate risk and insurance expertise acquired from industry, international broking, risk management, or insurance company background.
- Ideal experience in the energy and petrochemical industry sector.
