Store Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Store Operations Manager to join our team at Foam Lake Service Station. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the store, ensuring excellent customer service, and maintaining a high level of productivity.
Key Responsibilities- Direct and control daily store operations, ensuring a smooth and efficient customer experience.
- Evaluate store performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
- Plan and organize store operations, including staffing, inventory management, and visual merchandising.
- Manage a team of staff, providing guidance, training, and coaching to ensure excellent customer service and high-quality products.
- Study market research and trends to determine consumer demand and adjust store operations accordingly.
- Determine merchandise and services to be sold, ensuring alignment with customer needs and market trends.
- Implement price and credit policies, ensuring compliance with company standards.
- Locate, select, and procure merchandise for resale, ensuring high-quality products and competitive pricing.
- Develop and implement marketing strategies to drive sales and increase customer engagement.
- Plan budgets and monitor revenues and expenses, ensuring financial stability and growth.
- Determine staffing requirements, ensuring adequate coverage and skills to meet customer needs.
- Resolve issues that may arise, including customer complaints and supply shortages.
- Recruit, hire, and supervise staff and/or volunteers, ensuring a positive and productive work environment.
- Conduct performance reviews, providing feedback and coaching to staff to improve performance.
- Supervise office and volunteer staff, ensuring a smooth and efficient work environment.
- 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a retail or operations management role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff, customers, and vendors.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Ability to work under pressure, handling multiple tasks and responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
- Physical ability to stand for long periods, lift heavy loads, and perform other physical tasks as required.
- Adaptability, efficiency, hardworking, outgoing, time management, excellent oral communication, and organized.
- Ability to multitask, with a strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy and quality in all tasks.
The Store Operations Manager will work in a fast-paced retail environment, with a focus on providing excellent customer service and maintaining a high level of productivity. The successful candidate will be required to work a 40-hour week, with flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends.
