Cloud and DevOps Developer

As a Cloud and DevOps Developer at Intelliware, you will leverage your expertise in DevOps practices, cloud infrastructure builds, and platform engineering to drive innovation and excellence in our projects.

This role involves collaboration with cross-functional teams, utilizing your technical and interpersonal skills to deliver high-quality solutions. You will have the opportunity to work with a diverse group of experienced professionals, sharing your knowledge and learning from others in the DevOps and Cloud space.

The DevOps and Cloud Practice at Intelliware strives to produce reusable patterns and code to accelerate our initiatives. As a member of this team, you will contribute to shaping our approach to similar projects in the future.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Consult internal teams and clients on DevOps best practices, using our depth of experience to avoid common pitfalls and issues.
  • Implement modern DevOps tooling and design cloud solutions across various industries for new and exciting implementations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional team members on software features, design, and implementation.
  • Participate in the end-to-end delivery of DevOps and cloud consulting projects, ensuring completion on time, on budget, and meeting or exceeding client expectations.
  • In-depth knowledge of core DevOps principles, infrastructure design and implementation experience with Azure, AWS, or GCP, and experience implementing and automating pipelines in Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, AWS CodePipeline, or similar CICD frameworks.
  • Experience in at least one scripting language (Python, Bash, PowerShell, etc.) and at least one configuration management framework (Helm, Ansible, Chef, Puppet, etc.).
  • Bachelor's Degree in Software Engineering or Computer Science (or equivalent education/experience), proficiency in Python or Go, experience in end-to-end pipelines as code including all aspects of security, testing, and observability, software development or operations background, and exposure to and enthusiasm for Agile approaches.
