Supply Chain Coordinator

MANSOORI TRANSPORT is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Supply Chain Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth flow of goods and materials within our warehouse operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Determine method of shipment
  • Prepare bills of lading, invoices and other shipping documents
  • Assemble containers and crates
  • Inspect and verify incoming goods against invoices or other documents
  • Maintain internal record-keeping system
  • Record shortages and reject damaged goods
  • Route goods to appropriate storage areas
  • Pack goods to be shipped
  • Unpack goods received
  • Affix identifying information and shipping instructions on shipments
  • Oversee loading and unloading of goods

Experience: Experience an asset. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of logistics and supply chain management principles and practices.

Support for newcomers and refugees: Assists with immediate settlement needs of newcomers and/or refugees (for example: housing, transportation, storage, childcare, winter clothing, etc.). Supports social and labour market integration of newcomers and/or refugees (for example: facilitating access to community resources, language training, skills training, etc.). Recruits newcomers and/or refugees who were displaced by a conflict or a natural disaster (for example: Ukraine, Afghanistan, etc.). Supports newcomers and/or refugees with foreign credential recognition. Offers mentorship programs that pair newcomers and/or refugees with experienced employees.

Support for Indigenous people: Offers mentorship, coaching and/or networking opportunities for Indigenous workers. Develops and maintains relationships with indigenous communities, indigenous-owned businesses and organizations. Provides cultural competency training and/or awareness training to all employees to create a welcoming work environment for Indigenous workers.
