Job Title: Shift Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Shift Manager to join our team at Five Guys Burgers and Fries. As a Shift Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of staff members to ensure that our customers receive exceptional service and that our restaurant operates efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage a team of staff members to ensure that our customers receive exceptional service and that our restaurant operates efficiently and effectively.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff members who prepare and portion food, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation.
  • Train staff members in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to ensure that our restaurant meets the highest standards of quality and safety.
  • Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation and ensure that our restaurant is stocked with the necessary supplies.
  • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards and address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage to ensure that our restaurant operates efficiently and effectively.
  • Prepare and submit reports to management to ensure that our restaurant is operating within budget and meeting our goals.
Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of experience in a supervisory or management role in the food service industry.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills to lead and motivate a team of staff members.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make decisions quickly and effectively.
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures to ensure that our restaurant meets the highest standards of quality and safety.
  • Ability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
