About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled DevOps Engineer to join our team at Electronic Arts. As a DevOps Engineer, you will play a critical role in designing, deploying, and managing our cloud-based services and infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable and secure cloud-based services and infrastructure using Kubernetes and other cloud-native technologies.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate application deployment and ensure high-quality releases.
- Collaborate with development teams to containerize applications and microservices, and ensure seamless integration with our cloud-based infrastructure.
- Monitor and optimize the performance of our cloud-based services and infrastructure, ensuring high availability and scalability.
- Ensure the security and compliance of our cloud-based infrastructure, adhering to industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in cloud computing, DevOps, and Kubernetes, and apply this knowledge to improve our services and infrastructure.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in cloud computing, with a focus on public cloud services (AWS, GCP, etc.).
- Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer, with a strong understanding of Kubernetes and containerization technologies.
- Strong understanding of cloud platforms, including AWS and GCP, and their Kubernetes services (EKS, GKE, etc.).
- Proficiency in scripting languages, such as Python or Go, and experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools.
- Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools, such as Prometheus and Grafana, and experience with infrastructure-as-code tooling, such as Terraform.
- Demonstrated expertise in network security fundamentals and experience implementing network resources in public cloud contexts.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience migrating existing services from Cloud Compute (EC2) to Kubernetes.
- Experience with Continuous Deployment technologies, such as ArgoCD.
- Experience with managing DB & Cache clusters.
