Job Title: Building Control Engineer

CIMA+ is seeking a skilled Building Control Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and developing automated regulation systems in building mechanics.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop drawings and specifications for automated regulation systems in building mechanics.
  • Determine construction costs and quantities in accordance with standard methods and established drawings and specifications.
  • Conduct surveys and studies, and write technical reports.
  • Participate in the resolution of technical problems.
  • Write progress reports and contribute to drawing up action plans.
  • Participate in partial supervision of construction work.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical buildings engineering or equivalent.
  • Membership or eligibility in the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ) and the.
  • A minimum of three years' relevant experience in building automatic regulation.
  • Fluency in spoken and written French.
  • Valid driver's licence and access to a vehicle.
  • ASP Construction card.
  • LEED certification or knowledge of sustainable development and energy efficiency principles (an asset).
