Job Description

The Assistant General Manager will work under the direction of the General Manager and with the front-of-house management team to oversee all aspects of restaurant operations, including staffing, scheduling, cost controls, staff training, and administration.

This role involves taking an active part in daily service, consistently providing quality service to our guests and ensuring team members deliver a memorable experience.

The successful candidate will lead by example, demonstrate strong communication skills, and foster a positive working culture by reinforcing the MHG values daily.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Able to multitask in a fast-paced environment, juggling different priorities.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Possession of 2 years' experience working in a full-service high-volume restaurant.
  • Post-secondary diploma/degree in business or hospitality is an asset.
