At Sleep Country, we are seeking a skilled DevSecOps Cloud Security Specialist to join our team. This is a senior role that requires a deep understanding of cloud operations, security, and compliance.

About the Role

The DevSecOps Cloud Security Specialist will be responsible for ensuring the operability, security, and compliance of our cloud-based applications and services. This includes oversight of pipeline management, logging, monitoring, and security tooling, as well as maintenance and development of our monitoring and alerting platforms.

You will work closely with our on and offshore teams to ensure that our Oracle Retail Process Orchestration and Monitoring (POM) processes are operational. Additionally, you will oversee the administration of the Apigee API management platform, ensuring secure API development, deployment, and lifecycle management.

Responsibilities
  • Maintenance and development of our monitoring and alerting platforms
  • Oversight of pipeline management, logging, monitoring, and security tooling
  • Administration of the Apigee API management platform
  • Ensuring secure API development, deployment, and lifecycle management
  • Development and enforcement of policies and procedures for data protection, compliance, and privacy in alignment with GDPR, CCPA, and other relevant regulations
  • Design and implementation of robust security practices for cloud and hybrid systems, with a focus on minimizing risks and vulnerabilities
Qualifications and Experience

To be successful in this role, you will need a Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field, or equivalent education-related experience. A minimum of seven years of experience in DevSecOps, with at least three years focused on cloud operations, security, and cloud management, is required.

Additional qualifications include proficiency in working with CI/CD tools, familiarity with project management tools, experience with enterprise monitoring/alerting tools, practical experience with infrastructure as code tools, understanding of Test or Behavior Driven Development, familiarity with Agile, SAFe, and DevSecOps methodologies, and general familiarity with data protection laws and regulations (GDPR, CCPA).

Salary and Benefits

We offer an estimated salary range of $120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on experience.
